I can officially announce that our next product from the IRIS hangars will be the much loved Eurofighter Typhoon.. :)

This aircraft holds a special place in my heart.. Back in 2004 when I was developing under the label of DSB Design, our last freeware aircraft was the Eurofighter, and one that I won a Flightsim.com Developers Award for. Now, 6 years later, I think it's about time we took our existing knowledge of FSX and created a new Typhoon with all the bells and whistles we can throw at it!

Keep a close eye out here for news, images and videos of this fantastic project as it gains momentum!

Below are a number of images taken from various stages of construction.. :)

Congrats to Woody901 on our forums and Peter Jardine on Facebook for being the first to correctly guess this new product... You both get a free copy upon completion.. ;)

Alright, this will be great!!

Don't forget the sensor bump just to the left of the front windscreen. Just looked, and it is only on some aircraft.

The just recently did a sofware update for the airbrakes. so when you get to the animations, the bottom lips of the intake flare out when the dorsal brake is extended.

sensor bump is the PIRATE, Passive Infra-Red Airborne Tracking Equipment, it's a 2G IIR Sensor system and performs the duty of passive detection. fitted to Tranche III Typhoons if I recall, oh and lets not forget officially i believe these are called Typhoon FGR.4's 8-)

Looking Great David! 8-)

Indeed Matt, FGR4, although I believe some of the F2 versions confusingly had them fitted for a while as well.

Can't wait to cast my critical eye over this one! :)
